Art and Tarts

Last weekend was one of sun and cultured fun. You see here in Brixton and Herne Hill we had Art, and the Lambeth fair - a reggae music fun type thing which has stayed authentic to its roots for more than a decade. With a handful of homemade cupcakes, treacle tart and a pot of cider we whiled away the afternoon. Amazing.

Here are some images of the fair and of the live graffiti which was taking part on my road. Join me next year - it was a blast.

Ohh la Sarenza

Recently I was asked by Sarenza (THE parisian shoe shop) to participate in a competition between myself and 25 other bloggers.

The competition was to make their one pair of their shoes from their continental fashion findings range look chic as can be (as if thats hard??!).  So I chose a model of shoes (Dolly moheda sandals) and got to work with them on my Balcony. The shoes I must say looked suitably chic, and are rediculously comfortable!

Being me I couldn't decide on one outfit combination so I instead went for 3 different options. I found these shoes worked particularly well with socks - hence the combination.

NUMBER 1

NUMBER 2

NUMBER 3

I think I'm partial to outfit number one - I may even sport it to work tomorrow...

UPDATE: The competition is up, please vote for my outfit here - http://blog.sarenza.co.uk/2010/07/reflection-of-alice/

Finally I saw Bob Dylan yesterday - HUMBLED
